My Product Design Journey
From starting a hobby, to discovering my passion for changing the world, here is my journey through product design.
March 2021
At the start of the COVID-19 pandemic, mindlessly scrolling on social media, I found a graphic explaining different statistics on the pandemic.
I was fascinated by how this designer was doing more than just creating cool visuals — they were shaping narratives, building understanding, and alleviating panic with clarity.
I wanted to be a part of this: I wanted to use design as a tool for change.
august 2021
I did graphic design work for a local health start-up. This was the beginning of my journey of designing within the healthcare space.
October 2022
Eager to leverage my design skills on a more significant level, I began working on SleepStreak as a UI/UX designer.
SleepStreak is an app that helps college students improve their sleep and wellness.
From this point, I combined my focus to creating products that improve physical & mental health.
Tools: Figma
June-August 2023
During the summer, I completed sprints, each focusing on a different problem within healthcare.
I focused on sharpening my design strategy, business thinking, and user centricity throughout my design process.
Skills: User Research, User Testing, Prototyping, Wireframing, Storyboarding, Market Mapping
Today
Now, I'm continuing to design digital health products that improve and advance healthcare on a global scale.
